Bag of Tricks: An Intro

Okay, into the fray then. TheantixWho You Are story incited me to make the plunge and start my own blog.

That’s the easy part. The hard part is, what am I going to talk / write about?

There came the Bag of Tricks.

Those of you with AD&D flashbacks (mine are quite painful, but I’ll get into that in a later entry…) will remember the Bag of Tricks; Nethack has it, too. It was a magic sack, from which you could get about anything.

Get the idea? Well, that is simple enough: my Bag of Tricks will bring you miscellaneous items. Reviews, mostly: role-playing games, books, comic books, CDs, animes, movies. Anything I saw, heard, read, played, liked or disliked.

I don’t expect you, readers, to agree to anything you will read. Heck, I don’t even expect anyone reading this… I am nonetheless available to comment on things. Whenever I have some time, but you already figured out that part, haven’t you?

As a final note, I live in Geneva, Switzerland (that’s in continental Europe), and I am a native French speaker. Which means that 1) I may sometimes have my English seriously mangled, please bear with me, and 2) I may happen to rant about some piece of game, book or comic book you may never have heard about, because, see, that’s a French thing. If so, don’t be afraid to vote me down “-1, too French-centric” or something. I’ll probably ignore you but you’ll feel better afterwards and who am I to argue with self-psychoanalysis?…

I’ll be around shortly for my first installment of this Bag of Tricks, so don’t go too far.
